I try my best not to react ... but jeez .. its one bad spell after another ..

In over 5k hands with this new name im running at 15 / 11 on the $100 FR tables .. and in that time ..

The biggest net profit in a single hands are as follows ..

One flush netted me $67.00
One straight netted me $96.50
and two sets netted me $78.30 and $60.45

Ive won two hands with AA and QQ which netted $60.45 and $52.15

No other hand has netted me over $40 ..

Its not like im playing a really tight game or anything .. but jesus .. I can hardly hit a damn thing ... even lost my last 3 KK's

I am constantly raising limpers with AK / AQ or AJ and being called by 55 - TT and committing them to pots only for them to keep calling and me showing A high every time ..

And if the roles are reversed .. the A or high card are being spiked allmost at will ..

In 68 hands where ive seen a flop with 22 to TT ive hit a set 4 times ..and only 2 of them paid something decent ..

Its not about the $$ because im only down $40 overall ...but heck ... i really struggle to deal with a stretch of BS like this ..

I now these bloody things turn around .. but this is after coming off a 12 buy in downswing on another site ...

Im bloody questioning whether i can win at this ******* game anymore ..

I know 5k hands is not huge ... but its not small either ..

OK ...Mr Rational is in the house !

Lets look at the bigger picture ...

Over the last 14k hands im down just under 9 buy ins .. ( this bad or basically average ? )

I think this is magnified by the fact i tend to quit when things go belly up fairly early ... so the last 14k hands have taken me about 25 days !!

Basically .... this downswing seems worse because its been going on nearly a month ..

In that time ive received $680 in bonus's etc ... so overall not down much ..

Solutions :

Must find a way to play through these spells ... quitting after an hour because the **** has allready hit the fan is not a great idea .

This will help because i will ride out the downswing quicker, therefore it wont seem so bad ...

I will go back to the drawing board and try again ...

Ive got to somehow break this cycle .. I know what needs to be done .. but i cant seem to bloody do it

This is it folks ... the day i finally changed ! ( and no .. not me underwear )

Ive finally realised that this form of tilt , the one where i quit playing because im not winning a shed load of money or being outdrawn at will or both ! is whats holding me back .

Ive had it for years ( and i have the posts to back this up ) ... its now or never ( again ) ...

Due to this bad run ... its only bad because i let it go on for weeks ... ive only played 8k hands this month ..

So my target for this month is to clear 30k hands .. means about 1.5k hands a day .. now there is no chance i can do this if i have another strop at the next bad few days ..

I have enough time in my life to play poker ... so to have managed a record of 21k hands in a month is awfull .. especially as i tend to play 8 tables ..

This is the one and only reason why i struggle with poker ...

Remember the date folks . .16th June was the day Llanlad sorted it out !!

Also .. its a rather poiniant date as it would have been my dads birthday ... so ill prove it to him too !!

Still hardly hit a damn thing and got rivered by 4 outers about 4 times and flopped two sets .. unfortunately they where with AA and KK which dried up my action !

17 PP's from 22-TT and they all missed again ..

These players are sooo bad ... once i start hittings sets and draws im gonna have a marvelous day ..

Its just around the corner .. i can allmost feel it !!

Was focused tonight .. did not let the suckouts bother me and just sang some Bon Jovi on my head phones .... thankfully my son was staying at his mums tonight and therefore he did not have to hear me singing out loud ..
