Hey guys, long time no post.

I've been playing at UBet at the Micro Limits still messing around with my game.

A common scenario is myself + 6 Players who are playing 3+ tables at the same time. +1-4 other players who could range from Tight Aggro to ATM.(usually quite poor)

The games are about 30% seeing the flop and theres a lot of aggressive moves,

On the whole, they tend to play formulaic Loose Table Holdem strategy, and because theyre playing multiple tables they don't see many nuances.

When I play ITHE by the book I make about 5 BB/hr on average (Pretty solid, and a 20 cents per hour, 8hrs a week, I should have the WSOP ME Buy in 120 yrs from now Very Happy )

When I play Loose Aggro Tricky, I pick up a lot of bigger pots and its almost like I can see the cards the Multitablers are playing. But the swings are larger so I need a bigger bankroll to avoid losing all my pennies (oh noes)

I made my usual mistake of trying to move ahead with an insufficient bankroll (New Years resolution #5 - thats the fifth year, not 5th on the list) and now I don't want to risk what I have left as my "fun" poker money micro bankroll (Makes me laugh too, so don't feel guilty about pointing and snickering) with US Regulations being the pain in the butt that they are. That, and I want to show that I have the discipline to a) play good poker, b) Strict Bankroll adherence before I start trying to build a slightly less embarassing stake.

Does anyone have any suggestions about playing the multi tablers rather than playing cards, or should I stick to disciplining myself to grinding it out? Its almost like playing versus bots, so I figured I'd ask you guys' opinion.

if you're comfortable with grinding it out, by all means continue...

but i'd allow yourself a little allowance of splurge money to play for the big wins on occasion.

as you seem to evaluated your grindrate fairly accurately, just ask yourself how long you'd be willing to spend recovering from a loss under your looser style ?

and then determine the $ value from your grindrate.

hopefully heaven and earth will draw more closely together, and your experience grinding will increase your payrate, while your looser style will grow more reliable and you'll have less to worry about swings in your bankroll.
