Am I getting old or what? I have a medicine cabinet full of crap I am supposed to take (or elect to take) every day.

In the morning I take an aspirin, a multi-vitamin and some fish oil. I was prescribed Nexium as well, but if I don't have agita, I don't normally take it.

In the evening I take Zocor and melotonin.

I feel like a poster boy for a pharmacy. I suspect it will only get worse as time goes on, too. FFS.

Just say no Wink

I'd lose the Aspirin (unless its for something serious) if I could. That stuff is pure poison IMHO.

And you drown all that with a couple of beers I bet? Wink

I started taking a muscle relaxant (Robaxacet) before going to bed. I don't take it all the time, but I get a neck ache regularly nowadays.

I don't take a lot of other stuff but I am thinking of joining the frey with some multi-vitamin and glucosamine.

I have read on melatonin and am considering it also. I have terrible sleep habits (sometimes not sleeping at all or just a couple of hours for a 48-72h period). A couple months ago I bought this: Deep Sleep Every Night (Audio CD). It helps.

I used to think that sleep was overrated, but my body does not agree with that statement anymore. Very Happy

It's a cheap blood-thinner that some use for stroke prevention. If you are in the serious risk sone than there are better medicines available. If you are borderline (I am, bad genes) than keeping an eye on your cholestrol and stress level will do just as well without the negative sideeffects.

You should hear my doctor rave about Aspirin. You'd never touch that vile stuff again Wink

OK, I am off the Zocor again. My liver enzyme output was very high on my follow-up today. Doc was not 100% sure it was from the Zocor because they forgot to check that enzyme level before the Zocor. She wants me back off it so they can recheck my liver enzymes in a few weeks. Rolling Eyes
