Here is a great example of an interesting hand I played today:

Online:
9 Seated 1-2 LHE

I get dealt 7d 5d in LP1

---
EP1 fold
EP2 fold
EP3 Calls (limps in)
MP1 Calls
MP2 folds
LP1 (Me) Call
LP2 fold
SB fold
BB checks

Dealer: The flop is [5s Qh 7c]
Dealer: SB checks
Dealer: EP3 bets $1
Dealer: MP1 folds
Dealer: LP1 (Me) raises to $2

Dealer: BB folds
SB folds
Dealer: EP3 calls $1

[So now it is just Hero vs. Villain. Hero has position with 7d 5d]

Dealer: The turn is [7h]
Dealer: Villain checks

So, now the Hero has FULL HOUSE.

Question: What would you do now?

1. Slow play by checking. (Give him a free card and hope he hangs himself with it).

2. Bet out right (Charge him $ right now if he is on a draw).

What would you do to try to extract the most bets out of him? How would you weigh this against the possibility of a bad beat?

I will tell you what I did in the game and what happened with rest of the story in a short while.

There is some interesting math involve in this one because this is not the nuts fullhouse.

All answers are welcome, but the ones that are backed up by math would really help all of us get the most learning out of this very cool example.

Look forward to all your answers!

Prince of Odds.
