hey guys I was in a $1/$2 no limit game today and just want to make sure my thinking of a hand I thought I misplayed is correct.

It was a full 10 handed game and I was in the big blind. It was limped round with about 6 limpers total including the SB who made it up. I checked with the 7 of Clubs6 of Clubs.

The flop came 7 of Spades 10 of Diamonds 6 of Spades The pot is $12

SB checks, Hero bets $10, fold, fold, fold, button calls, SB folds

Turn 5 of Spades Pot: $32

Hero checks, button checks

River 9 of Clubs Pot: $32 (probably actually $29 after rake)

hero checks, button bets $20

Now firstly the button was quite tight and kinda in the middle of passive and aggressive. She wasn't betting all the time but wasn't just check calling. She'd tent to bet her hands from what I noticed.

Now firstly, with only one opponent here should I be betting out again on the turn rather than checking here? I checked to try and keep the pot small but I don't know if my thinking was correct here.

The river completes more draws on top of the draws the turn completed and I'm not sure if I'm having to call the river here or not?

Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks guys.

What are the stack sizes?

Assuming you have full $200 stacks, I think I'd probably bet/fold the turn. Your hand is probably still good, but it's very vulnerable. Villain seems kind of straightforward, so you can safely fold if she raises.

River is probably a fold. In a typical live low-limit game, most players aren't going to bet the river without at least a straight.

My stack at that point would have been around $200 and I had her covered. She had maybe around $100, possilby slightly more left.

I did fold the turn in the end the way this one played out. I figured the same that there is too much out there that can beat me. I did think however that I could have possibly avoided this by betting the turn and seeing how she reacted to it.

What would have been the course of action had she called the turn? A check/call or check/fold on the river?
