Just wondering what youze guys think. Not looking for legal opinions.
In my state, I can play poker legally as long as:
1) there is no rake, entry fee, etc
2) the game is not open to the public
So, could I host a server, running rake-free games, among players entirely within one state, as long as access to the server is not public, and age verification was in place?
I'm guessing no as the law is against bets made over the phone lines at all and supposed to cover the whole country to my knowledge. Sounds like that would only help legalize a live tournament or a non house profit home game.
