Hello all,
I've only recently(few months with little time) started playing poker and at the same time I started playing real money on poker stars I bought the book ITH, which I've been studying.
I've been playing limit on the .02/0.04 cents, which I am now starting to win.
Recently the mad "players" in those low limits have got me wondering if I would do better if I played higher stakes, where the knowledge on the book would be more real. The problem is higher stakes for me would still be micro(like 0.1/0.2) as that's the biggest I would go for and from what I've seen there isn't much of a difference in competition.
Should I continue to play those lowest levels? Does it make a difference playing 0.1/0.2 instead of 0.02/0.04?
Looking forward for your opinions and sharing the boards with you all.
Although there isn't that must difference between $0.02/$0.04 and $0.10/$0.20, I would advice to you make one step at a time. If you are winning on $0.02/$0.04, I would try some $0.05/$0.10. After you are winning there, try so $0.10/$0.20. Also, make sure you are playing within your bankroll. 300 Big bets is recommended for any limit.
How big is your bankroll now? If you play according to ITH, you can easily beat $0.25/$0.50. But if you play there with only $30 or so, you can still go broke, even if you play perfect.
