How does the Free Gift Offer work?
Internet Texas Hold'em (ITH) is an online poker room affiliate site.

The most important thing in success of an online poker room is it's player base. The more players there are, the more games there are, and the more money the room stands to make. One of the most common ways that the poker rooms acquire new players is through promotions/advertising with affiliates like ITH.

Why should I use a poker affiliate?
Primarily, for the free gifts. If the poker rooms want your business, why shouldn't you get something in return for giving it to them?

Additionally, here at ITH you have access to all the poker resources in our forums and on our website, and a poker community several thousand strong to help you improve your game. We also pride ourselves on our customer service, and since we work closely with the poker sites to setup our promotions we can often help you solve problems with a site more efficiently than you would be able to by dealing directly with the site customer service.

What are the requirements?
The poker rooms require that play a certain amount in order to qualify for your gift. This requirement is generally a certain number of raked hands, sometimes at or above a certain level. Alternatively, some poker rooms use various point systems to track your play. In either case, the signup page for each site will detail the requirements.

Is shipping included?
Yes, worldwide shipping is included in all the offers unless noted otherwise. The only item where there's currently a notable difference, is that certain offers do not include shipping outside the US on the chipsets (offers that do include worldwide shipping of the chipsets note this in the offer).

How are orders shipped, and how long does it take them to arrive?
Most orders are shipped via US Postal Service, Media Mail in the US and Global Priority Mail outside the US. Typically, orders arrive within 1-2 weeks of shipping in both cases, and all orders are usually shipped within 2 business days of approval. There are some exceptions. Software orders, Poker Tracker and Poker Ace HUD, are handled via download and e-mail and are usually completed within 24 hours of approval. Chipsets in the US and Canada are typically sent via FedEx or UPS and will actually arrive somewhat more quickly than book orders. All international chipset deliveries and book orders to countries where Global Priority Mail is not an option are sent via Parcel Post Airmail which has highly variable delivery times from as little as 2 to as much as 6 weeks. Custom ordered apparel (right now, just the ITH logo jacket) takes 1-2 additional weeks to process, on top of the quoted delivery times. Most international orders are also limited to 1-2 items per package, which will normally result in multiple packages being delivered over a couple day span.

What about customs duties/taxes?
While we make every effort to note the wholesale value of items shipped internationally and to mark shipments as gifts (i.e., not directly purchased) in order to minimize any such fees, some international shipments may incur customs fees or taxes which are beyond our control and which are the responsibility of the recipient. You should check with the postal service in your country for more information about potential costs. As a general note, we have received few complaints of issues with book/DVD/apparel shipments. Customs in many countries seems much more inclined to inspect the chipset shipments, likely due to the larger packaging/weight making them stand out.

How long do I have to complete an offer?
Generally, we do not impose a time restriction on completing an offer, though most sites do have time restrictions on completing the cash bonuses offered at the site that range from 30-60 days. If there is a limit on an offer, it will be detailed along with the play requirements.

I have completed the requirements. Now what?
Once you have completed the play requirements, you can return to the Free Gift Offer and fill out the order form for your site. We will then verify your details with the poker room. While we endeavor to verify the orders as quickly as possible, it does sometimes take as long as a week with some sites. Once approved, most orders are shipped within 1 business day.

Can I sign up for a poker site more than once?
No. Only one offer per poker site per person. You are, however, welcome to complete as many different offers as you like.

Can everyone in my household signup for your promotions?
Generally, yes. Some sites will restrict sign-ups from the physical address, the same IP address, or the same computer. In those cases, if the site will not allow a second signup you will not be able to use a second offer at that site.

Can I receive the same gift(s) more than once?
Absolutely! You are welcome to use any offer to order whatever you like. Need more than one chipset, just complete an offer for more than one site. Want two (or more) of an item, you're free to select duplicates within an offer where multiple items from a list are offered, and you're welcome to order duplicate items on different offers as well.

I got an e-mail saying my order was rejected. What happened?
It could be any number of things. Your poker room account might not be linked to ITH, you might not have completed the promotional requirements, the details (e-mail address, alias, or other information) by which the poker site associates your account with your order may not match, or it simply might be a mistake. If you have aren't sure why your order was rejected, you can contact us at support@internettexasholdem.com with your details and we will do whatever we can to get your order processed. Please note, that we cannot promise that we can an order approved, but we will do what we can. We want you to get your free gifts, after all, since if your order is denied that means we aren't getting credit from the poker site for your account, plus we've created an unhappy customer.

I completed my order a long time ago, but haven't received my gifts. What is going on?
First, it does sometimes take as long as a week to get an order approved, then as long as 4-6 weeks for items to be delivered, depending on what you have ordered and where it's being shipped. Our systems do generate an e-mail (with details) to you for each step in the order process, including order submission, and order approval/shipping. If you are concerned that an order is missing, you can contact us at support@internettexasholdem.com.

What do I do if my free gifts arrive damaged?
While this is a rare occurrence, we do ship a lot of orders and some of them travel great distances with sometimes less than gentle postal services/shipping companies. Please contact us at support@internettexasholdem.com with the details of the damage or other problems and we will get it corrected.

What do I do if my free gifts arrive and items are missing or the wrong items are recieved?
Please be aware that many shipments, especially international, are limited by packaging to one or two books, so you may receive multiple shipments over the course of a couple of days to fill your order. In the event that an item is actually missing or incorrect, please contact us at support@internetttexasholdem.com and we will correct the problem.

I just helped a friend filling out his free gift offer-form. well the last point was how he did hear about ITH. As it was me he entered my forum nick. Wondered if i get an additional gift or is it just for statistical purposes?

At the page for the current offers it says hat with Everest you can choose 4 gifts, but in the form you can only pick two books (or one of the other prizes).

I haven't got the amount of points at Everest yet, but was just wondering, because I want to start at Everest.
