Inspired by MXRider and Casper each coming up with individual initiatives that support COLOMBIANITOS, I have found one of my own. I will freeroll them for my next 100 pending bonus points at Absolute Poker. I will chase off 100 more bonus points there, earning $25 in bonus and a little rakeback on the side. Any money I make from poker play during that time will go to COLOMBIANITOS.
Here's hoping the kiddies do well this week! |

Unfortunately, not good so far. 60% complete playing mostly $3/6 FRLH I am down about $120. I am going to credit colombianitos with $21 though, because I played TT from UTG really poorly one hand, so I won't count that one against this little quest. (So, subtracting that hand from the results puts me down about $100.)
My table selection has been good, but getting two-outtered on the river twice will tend to jack up your short term results. |

Hmm, I wonder if Columbiantos is going to cover your losses for you Bull
Good-luck in getting unstuck!
Maybe I'll do some charity type thingy if I have a good idea or get the motivation.

Nothing like 6 straight tables of positive results at NL 100 to make finishing in the black a possibility again.
Think I can continue running at 19.4 BB/100 on those tables?
I am only down $20 with about 30 points left to earn (they accrue more slowly at NL 100 as the $10 minimum is not reached as often. I win a lot of $6 pots.) |

Hmm, let me see - that sounds a bit like 3/6 FRLH at Absolute at the moment. Where were you playing again? |

Complimenting me on your first ever post bodes well for you!
Welcome to ITH!
Unfortunately, it did not work out for the kiddies. I got pasted coming down the stretch, and finished down about $80. I fell behind early last night when my flopped middle set got stacked by a straight. I'll see if I can post the hand in the NL section.
I might try this again in the future because I wanted it to work out for the charity - does that make it short-term results oriented?
Better luck next time kids! |
