My wife is a big Obama supporter. (I'm more of the thinking "Obama is better than McCain, but neither one of them is all that great.") Anyway, she gets all the emails from the Obama campaign, and lately they've been sending folks in California emails encouraging them to caravan over to Nevada (a battleground state) to campaign.
So....
I'm trying to convince her that I should get an Obama T-shirt and an Obama hat, put 'em on, and go to Vegas and play poker for a few weeks. I'll tell anyone who asks me why I'm voting for Obama.
A brilliant plan, I think. |

| Not even sure you need to tell her the poker part. Just tell her you're going to Nevada to campaign. How you go about it is superfluous. |

True, just because you'll be campaigning at the poker tables shouldn't make that big of a difference.  |

I have an even more brilliant plan...Leave house wearing Obama gear. Throw Obama gear out car window in Nevada desert when you see the Vegas skyline. Change into normal comfortable poker attire. Build your poker bankroll. Start new job as professional poker player. |

Actually, telling the wife you'll be job hunting at the same time wouldn't be such a bad idea. |

| We're only a step away from seeing WSOP hats courtesy of the NRA or UAW (dot net of course). I'd be happy to wear either - no such thing as too many free hats. |
