I feel slightly trapped .... with nowhere to go !

But there are allways choices..

I normally 8 table $200nl FR ... I do so with many others that do the same ..some even play more than this ..

We are fairly alike in how we play ... we all have gone for quantity over quality ...

Our edge over each other is fairly small .. and you can probably find 6 of us on the same tables ..

But we dont seem to care .. we just play .. we call with drawing cards in position when a EP raises ... we hope to hit ... the rarely stack each other even if we do hit ..

I dont play nearly as much as some of them ... jeez .. they are like machines ... they can play for hours ...

Is this where i will end up ? ....

Do i join them in playing 15 - 16 tables at once ... be dead tight and just dont take many risks but play 700 - 800 hands per hour ...

Its a pretty sure fire way of making money ... the odd mad man will appear .. get eaten alive and leave .... and then its back to the grind ..

I very much doubt ... im the only one like this ... but many many do just sell there soul to the devil and play brain dead poker ..

I do read HH .. i do make a lot of notes ... i do know what there ranges are .. but when your playing 15 tables ... you obviously dont have much time to think ..

The biggest problem is ... I HAVE to make money from poker .... whats more important ... playing a great game or just making money !!

I have a horrid feeling ... playing 15 tables is just around the corner and basically collecting my VIP bonus's and point race bonus's each month .. and not even making that much money on the tables ..

As i said .. we allways have choices ... I know a way of beating these players .. but it means more variance ... and we all know i have problems with variance .. Very Happy

I could move upto $400nl .... but i have a sneaky feeling the variance there would make me a little ill too !

The more tables you play .. the less variance will hit ... I think so anyway ... but you still amass a load of perks ..

Ohhh i dont know ... but im not sure i started playing poker hoping i would turn into a multi tabling robot !

I'm a Larry and will never be a Johnny. I try to play my best game while playing 4 tables.

Hang in there.
