Almost.
For the finale I free rolled into the Full Tilt Daily Doubles (via 275 FTP Point SNGS) and will be playing those later this evening. Hopefully I can get a nice win there.
In my 4 years of playing, this was my very first attempt at MTT's. I had initially intended to play only $2.25/180's, but they didn't fill up fast enough, so I decided to play $5.50/90 mans as well. I don't know if this was a good decision or not. Anyways, I think I did pretty well. I found out the highs and lows of grinding MTT's, and the way I finished was exactly the way I did not want too. I ran into a string of nightmare situations, being my high JJ-AA pocket pairs running into 2 lower cards, and being unable to take the hand in key situations. On the flip side to that, early to mid way through this, I felt the success you can have in MTT's, and it was a very, very enjoyable feeling.
Also thanks to everyone who helped and railed in IRC and the forum.
I will post back here soon with the results of the daily double, and my plans for the next challenge.
I'm thinking of looking at the possibilities of doing what MX did and getting stakers for the $4/180s, but I would need input from others first. If not, I will most likely be doing another $2.25 challenge or a $5.50/90 man. I'm not sure yet.[/url]
Well, the daily doubles were a bust. AK is no good on a A3336 board and I go down to 66. On the other daily double on a QJx board, I cant get 88 to fold and my AK is beaten and Im crippled. The very next hand i get AQs, flop all kinds of draws including nut flush and fail to improve, ending my day
