Hi, everyone.. Thanks to Matthew for inviting me.
I am happy to attempt to answer any questions at all. Although my current book covers advanced limit strategy, I coach players in all forms of the game: limit cash, no limit cash, and tournament. Personally still primarily play limit, mostly because I think I can still make the most money there (I am a pro after all, and my goal is support my family, not set trends or prove anything).
I do not play many tournaments, mostly because of stamina, and the fact that long term, cash games are still the most productive and most regular income. I have never been staked, and do not intend to be. I can tell you why if you want to know.
Anyway, i will happy to try to address anything you care to ask. Of course, it will make me (and probably you) happier if you have read my book. |

| Sorry I have not read your book as I am a no limit tournament player and did not have interest in limit, but that is changing so I was wondering what you would say is the biggest mistake someone makes when moving from no-limit to limit and what is the biggest mistake someone makes when moving from limit to no-limit? |

| What limits do you typically play? Are you based in Vegas? |

Hi. First question first. Biggest mistake players make in moving from no-limit to limit: There are two. One is playing too many weak hands, particularly suited connectors and small pairs. The second is failing to value bet the river. I can expand on why this is if you wish.
Biggest mistake moving from limit to no-limit. Playing too few hands. Not understanding the threat behind a call on the flop or turn. Drastically overplaying and overvaluing one-pair hands.
What limits do I play. Mostly $30-$6 (there is no $40-$80 in Las Vegas). I play $60-$120 when it is available, and $100-$2000 rarely when I think the game is favorable. |

I would imagine a lot more folding from the small blind in that structure than usual.
Sorry, couldn't resist |

Hi. Yes, you would.
Sorry, I make a lot of typos. If spell check does not catch them, they tend to get posted. |
