If you are anybody knows..... give me the heads up "" Please """" I don't see anywhere on this site that anyone is concerned about what could happen on Sept, 27, 2007.

It could be the Last Stand for Online Poker. The purpose of this Hearing is to seek a judgment to restrain the US from enforcing the UIGEA. If at this hearing a judgment is denied , all the normal ways we fund Internet Poker in the US is ' Done " .... "Finished".

If you want to keep playing ...... how are you going to fund your accts. Today Bank of America denied my attempts to fund Epassporte using my checkcard visa and my Bank of Am Credit Card. I tried three times and was denied three times.

So...... does anybody know how ......or ......can find out how .....we can continue to fund our Poker Accts through some other means and some other country.

You know Canada , England etc and etc. Were 9 days away from Sept 27, 2007.

Appreciate any information anyone can provide regarding these concerns.

Thanks

The UIEGA is currently being enforced, I think Sept 27th is an attempt to overrule it. Nothing different will happen after the 27th than what is already happening today unless the bill is repealed.

I haven't been following it closely but there is NO news about this so I doubt anything significant is apt to change.

Things aren't just the same with me and Bank of Am.

First they stopped allowing me to directly fund Poker Stars with my Credit Card and Check Cashing Card,

NEW NEWS: "" TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME """""

Bank Of Am stopped allowing me to directly fund Epassporte. I gave up after three tries.

Since nothing has changed for you...... Appreciate your advise as to how I now fund my Poker Stars Acct.

Regards...

Some banks seem to be blocking some sites later than others. I am from Canada but Neteller was taken from us as well. One of my CCs still works for Stars and FTP but the other one doesn't. We dont even have any laws regarding online poker here and some banks block the transactions!

If Epass is unavailable to you now I'm not sure what you next best option is... Stars has some Moneygram or WesternUnion options but I have never looked into them.

I dont despoit often enough to worry too much about it. I pretty much only deposit when there are bonuses offered.

Bank of America has been reported to be one of the first banks to effectively stop certain transfers. I suspect that ePassport will be put on a "do not transfer" list that eventually will affect most banks. I don't think is related to Sept 27, but rather to the original UIGEA.

I'm uncertain what response you had hoped for. You are several months late for the big freak-out. We are probably headed back to the bad old days when you used to need Western Union to send money for you.

if you call BoA and tell them you want to send money to epassporte they will let you do it. just dont tell them its for online gambling! tell them its an account you have online like paypal that you use for (make up one).....but they wont ask anyways

they dont let you transfer to it because of fear of fraud because its an offshore bank, there is no reason for them to believe its for online gambling

First off, CTFO!

Open pokerstars cashier go to 'Buy Chips.' See if you have the online check or Pokerstars Visa (Paytru) options. If you do, then use it. If you don't then use the search. There have been posts in the general forum about people using prepaid Visa cards. The answers are out there, just look a bit.
