I believe that unless I am almost 100% certain, and maybe that's not even good enough, I pay this off, right?

I had a 2 hands in STTs that busted me the same way. It seems like pot size bets cant chase away flush or straight draws.
Almost people call down with any draw just to collect the FPP's. Thats how it use to be on Bugsys Club. |

Also:
I am trying to understand the concept of Value Betting more. In this hand is there any point where I should have made a bet I didn't? |

Well, you led every street, so you certainly didn't miss a value bet
Flop and turn are straightforward. If you check the river it gives a lot of worse hands that would have called you the chance to check behind, so it seems to me that bet/call 1 raise is the best way to go there. A raise and a reraise looks like more than 2pr to me, though, so I'd take the same line as you did. |
