I don't see a lot wrong with buttons play, slow played his set on the flop when there was action in front, then bet half the pot on the turn when it looked like the action had dried up. It's not fantastic play, I wouldn't slow play bottom set with action on a two suited board, but I don't think it's too bad. The thing I dislike most about this hand is mp2 limping with AQs, letting it go 7 handed to the flop then pushing in his whole stack when he hits top pair on the turn. The button calling a reraise on the flop and then betting a significant amount on the turn would have me concerned if I was MP2.
I would have played both MP2's and button's hand differently, but I think MP2's play is much worse. |

MP2 should probably be re-popping the flop, and given the action, button should probably be looking to get in on the flop.
As played, MP2 should be check-calling the turn. He's not getting action from worse hands with a raise, and it's entirely possible that he's up against another flush draw which he wants to let get there.
FWIW, I don't mind the pre-flop play, though raising AQs is viable as well. You stack someone more often with the limp, but obviously increase the risk in the process. Raising looks more attractive the later position you're in, too. |

| I had button on the flush draw based on his play on the flop. When the cards were showed-at this level you have a set, you aren't getting away from it. Raise-re-raise, I don't see how you can slow play it there. If Button shoves, he's gonna get called-don't see how you can be passive here. |
