I bought 'Odds And Probabilities' by Matthew Hilger a couple of years ago when I was new to Texas Hold'em so didn't make much use of the accompanying CD, although I removed it from the book for safe keeping. The trouble is the keeping is too safe as I cannot for the life of me remember where it went.

Assume I'm never going to find it again. What am I missing out on that my having internet access does not provide?

The CD has all of the 'Test Your Skills" hands in an online application called The Poker Tutor. http://www.internettexasholdem.com/pokertutor/

The Poker Tutor runs through the hands just like you would see at an online poker site. Some people find visual/hands-on learning better than just reading it in a book. But the hands are the same as in the book so you aren't really missing any content without the CD.

Thanks. Are you saying then that the CD just gives me exactly the same thing as your providing that link does?

No. The CD opens up The Poker Tutor and allows you to go thru all of the hands in the book. The only way people can access those hands is thru the CD - but the hands are just online versions of the hands described in the book. The link I gave was just to show you what The Poker Tutor is.

Thanks Matthew.

I wish I could find where I put it now. It'll probably turn up some time when I'm going through all my papers.
