just joined ... hello to all ... fairly new at the Poker world .... basically an out and out novice ... just read ITH ... and boy has my game improved
still playing at 0.10/0.20c games on Blue Square ... also play some torns on PKR .... am playing Blue Square due to limit games... which are lacking on PKR .... finding that i have a bit of a feel for the game but my discipline often lets me down ... TTFN
Good luck to you and welcome. It sounds like you have a good grasp of your personal strengths and weaknesses, which is a really great start. You are right that discipline is a critical skill for limit players. I hope you can learn to address that. You have come to a great place to improve your skills. Feel free to post example hands in the limit forum that give you trouble. You'll find that you get some good advice.

Isn't it amazing how much reading just one book can improve you game. Keep up with the study of the game while you play and you should be in good shape.

Cheers for the welcome guy:) ... feeling good this week as i doubled my bankroll by coming 5th from a field of about 250 in Blue Sq $1000 GP NLH Freezeout … won $78 … onwards and upwards … could you recommend a NLH tournament book as I found some of my play , especially at the final table, somewhat lacking
