Hi there, my name is Andy and am new here but have been having a look around for a bit and think the site is fantastic. Lots to learn!
I've been playing for a couple years off and on (mostly no limit sit and gos for a bit of fun and the odd tourney) but have not had the chance to take it too seriously. After reading M. Hilger's books i have recently decided to go back to basics and improve (by improve i mean to learn to play properly) my game and build a bankroll (hopefully) playing limit poker.
So, have decided to follow the bankroll strategy in ITH, deposited 500 (through ITH) and started playing 0.50/1.00 limit. 30 hours in I've learned alot, am up $60, have cleared $30 of bonus and am enjoying myself immensely! I've found M. Hilger's books invaluable and I'm sure the site will be the same.
