Well I just found this site, and impressed with the amount of material on here, that I thought it would be worth joining.

How I got here ? well I'm currently reading the poker mindset, and have also bought the holdem odds and probabilities book, which Ive leafed through a few pages sofar but will read in full, once Ive finished the mindset one.

I'm a bit of a sucker for poker reading material and so Ive read a number of books and have to say from what Ive seen and read sofar in the two books mentioned above, I think the're probably up there in the top 5 of the ones Ive read, along with the Harrington series, maybe Greensteins Aces on the River, and possibly Hellmuths Badbeats and Lucky draws or Des Wilsons, Swimming with the DevilFish.

Anyway, a bit about me, Ive been playing for about 3 years both live and online, with a little bit of success, winning the first prize in a UK magazines grand prix last year and later from another tournament getting my name of the hendon mob database being the highlights, I play on numerous online sites at the lower stakes, prefer to play MTTs and turbo STTs than cash, although got a bit of a major leak with PLO H/L cash, when BRM tends to go right out of the window.I'm a member of numerous forums, some as a lurker, some quite active. I keep a blog, where I tend to whinge and/or brag but by no means a writer, but interesting ( to me anyway ) to look back on from time to time.

My poker goals this year is to play more live, to win more than I did last year and to open my mind and improve my knowledge of the games I play.

So thats me, hopefully I can bring something to the forum aswell as take some of the other members knowledge to improve my game.
