I think you should have bet the river and hoped for a re-raise.

I don't see any other way to play this. If he has an ace, tough luck.

TAG

In that case I think you played it fine although I'd want to fold this so much but still end up crying calling. Saying that, are we really good 9% of the time here against a TAGs range? Infact, with a read on villain I may even lay this down.

Excellent question.

I'd say his range is AKs, AKo, TT-AA.

Assuming he would get to the river with his pre flop capping range then we have more than are fair share of equity to call the river. However, surely he's raising the flop or turn with his strongest hands here (AA, AK, TT, QQ) so It's difficult to know which hands to discount with stove on that river as played. He must have AQs or JJ unless he decided to peel the flop with 88 or 99 and picked up a flush draw on the turn?

Looking at this in a bit more detail I think the river is a clear call.

Well done all...I hated the call but couldn't find a 10:1 fold according to the 10% bluffing rule.

At any rate, he showed JJ.

I am also always calling this. You don't expect to win very often but that's why it's a crying call. Top set is just too strong to fold getting over 1:10, leave the hard decisions for hands like top pair.
