Well I've cleared my $500 at Cake and was thinking about trying UB as Rakefreeze (Adam from rounders radio show) offers rakeback there. The trouble is I'm enjoying cake at the moment. The combination of bad players (I guess that's me to some people ...soooooooo....some players worse than me) rakeback, and lack of poker tracker has become quite a draw. Maybe the lack of PT means that some of the better players who like to use it don't go there, making the games softer. I don't know for sure.
Anyone here play on both sites?
I don't want to chase the bonus if the games are quite tough compared to Cake,as I'd be better getting rakeback and (hopefully) more pots at Cake. On the other hand there are times when the tables are dead at Cake and it would be good to be able to play and get rakeback elsewhere.
I wish I could get rakeback at Pokerstars & FT but I missed the opportunity when I signed up for them directly ''
btw I'm playing FR LHE at Cake 1/2 & 2/4
I'd like to go back to playing more 6max too but find the rake too much at this limit.

I play at both. UB has a lot of advantages if you want to play there:
Bonuses don't expire
Lots of reloads
Bonus earned at your table goes into your account when you leave your tables.
If they are using Poker Tracker there, you couldn't tell it by me. Tables running in the high 30s to low 40s at 1/2 and 2/4.
I have not played FRLH at UB for a while, so I will leave the game assessment there to Piscivorous. I do know UB has a great bonus clearance rate at extremely low limits.
I started exploring the other rooms on the Cake Poker network a week or two ago. Most of them are connected to sportsbooks - low rated sportsbooks that have a history of ripping off players, so be careful. Sportsbook.com and its sister sportsbooks are notorious for closing player accounts and keeping the money of bettors who have accounts at more than one of that family of books - even if it is not forbidden anywhere in their rules, and is even encouraged by rtheir marketing. This does not mean that the poker sites will rip you off, but they are run by the same criminals. Use EXTREME caution.
(Not to be too spammy, but you can read about that here.) (A few articles down.)
Of all the rooms I have looked at, RedStar Poker seems like the best fit. 100% bonus up to $500, clears the same as Cake, and they take ePassporte - big benefit to most of us. Its a room that started as a stand alone room (no network) a couple years ago in Russia, but joined Cake to get some additional traffic. Looks promising, complicating my next choice for a chase!
