How would you play this?

Not too much info on villain, over 41 hands he has stats of 41/14/2.3. The turn is draw heavy so I decided to see a showdown unless a diamond or straight card came. Looking back at the hand I strongly feel I should be folding the turn as the pot isn't huge but admit to being completely clueless in this spot.

I like the way you played the hand. With a better read I could fold on the turn but the fact is you don´t know what he is capable of. (semibluffs even in small pots, free showdown raises and such)

Did you have a read that MP would bet the flop here? If you know he will bet, then you can easily check-raise. If he tends to check behind when he missed, then you are much better off betting yourself. You might even be able to 3-bet MP if he raises the flop.

The turn card is bad and I agree with the call here, as he still has lots of flush draws in his range. There are only two 2's, two 7s and two 8's left in the deck, a flush draw is quite likely. The river then brings in every worse hand he might have had and folding is correct IMO.
