Shove.

You can't call off 1/3 of your stack with a decent to good player behind you. He's going to put you AI if you flat call and you're way ahead of the BB's range here.

Don't you want him putting you AI here with TPTK? Unless he has 99/AJ you should be well ahead. By pushing you eliminate the chance that CO could make a mistake, he'll only call with either things that beat you. By calling you might get a lot more chips from a FD or just a stupid bluff . . . but you're giving him a chance to put more chips into the pot when you want them to go in.

I'd typically do a call/call line or if when I call CO calls behind just push turn into CO.

Insta-push

If BB had hit a set, or 2 pair, don't you think he'd CRAI instead? I'd put him on a weak ace or maybe a flush draw.

I assume you're worried about what CO might do?

In real time I'd push but I agree with toro that a call here will somtimes get chips from the CO when your ahead and a push wioll only get a call when your behind so I think call would be slightly better. I assume you not considering folding here, I want to get our chips in vs the BB here, his push looks like a likely draw to me any really big hands should be trying for a c/r if he is decent.

BB should have a draw here as a check-raise with say a flush draw is not really on due to the stack sizes., hence the push.

CO is not so much a worry as we should be well best and it is only 40 odd big blinds if not. To push or to call? Hmmnn.

If CO has a flush draw then it is 3.5-1ish to call a call which with the implied odds looks about ok. But if we do push then it doesn't really price out the draw as CO would get 2 cards to fill the flush as he will be all in. I don't think it matters so much if villain has a draw.

If CO has AQ then will he call a call more than a push? I suppose he might be more likely to call a call.

I think I'm going to just call this as we can't price out a draw but we can encourage AQ a bit more.

A very weird hand. I took all my time bank deciding whether AK was good here. The reason being was because on so many occasions, players have open pushed a large amount, and i have like an overpair, or TPTK like this case and they show the nuts or something. I remember saying to myself, if i call, i'm going to regret this decision. I kept saying this to myself. I'm not worried about the CO because i think he's only calling with a monster if i push.

I ended up pushing (knew it was a bad move. I was so close to folding and should have really). Like i said, on so many occasions people have shown trips or 2-pair here when pushing.

I pushed and obviously the CO behind me insta-calls and shows AA Very Happy. The BB had J9. So i was screwed Shocked
