Hi again guys and gals.

Great reports everyone. I'm not going to make a big one but here are some random notes.

Great group of people:
Once again I'm astonished by the quality of people showing up at these events. Everybody was nice and friendly. Kudos to a great community.

Hanging out:
Before I left I had decided to play less poker and hang out more (than last year). Somehow I messed that up Rolling Eyes . Sorry

WPT event 14, $500+60 Buyin, 500+ Entrants.
Felt I played great and timed my moves perfectly. Was never in serious trouble until the bubble broke (all my (called) allins was either with the by far best hand or coinflips I could afford to lose). 2 missplayed hands ITM killed me though. No worries, wanted to get drunk anyway Wink

ITH Tournaments:
Fun as always. First limit tourney I played every hand during the 3 first level (and was up). Got crippled by a flush over flush hand and started to play in the dark. Straight - Straight - Flush for my first 3 dark hands. Not bad Wink

Only tourney I tried to play seriously was the main. Unfortunately my table image was not the best Rolling Eyes . Anyway, made final table before I donked away most of my chips to Jane. Fun game.

$10-20 Limit Holdem.
Wow. thats one messed up game. 90% of the players are loose preflop and passive postflop. Soooo much dead money it's unbelivable. Had some strange conversation with a couple of guys who "was there to gamble". They did not recognise (limit) poker as a skill game Shocked If you get the cards you win, if you don't you loose. Loved those guys.

$10-20 and an ugly downswing:
Such loose games got to be swingy. After most of you left the downswing hit me hard. 3 brutal sessions where I almost got no cards and my few big hands got cracked cost me 90 BBs (ouch). Luckilly I was up 120 when the downswing started and managed a +50 BB session the last night so I managed to get away with some money. The downswing was no fun though.

Pimpin:
Staking a few ITHers in the $10-20 game was both fun and profitable. Anytime guys.

Thanks to Bugs for hanging out with me and giving me a ride to Newark..

A conversation I had with Prim last Sunday

Me: I played in the 10/20 game this morning
Pr: Did you win?
Me: No, dropped about $60. Never really got any cards
Pr: Ha ha it's impossible to lose in that game

I had fun hanging with you Prim. Im suprised you were able to leave that nice suite of yours....

I can easily see potential for some bad swings in that game if you arent getting the cards....

BTW I just had a closer look at your avatar and I cant believe that it took me as long to find you as it did in the poker room (maybe 2 minutes)

Fun to hang out with you too Oz.

Got thrown out of the suite (only had it till sunday and they wouldnt renew the sweet deal). Ended up at the Borg. Nice place too (same wild 10/20 game).

BTW,
I owe you $50 from Steve's part of our pimpin business. Stars transfer OK ?

Nice report Prim. Sounds like those 10/20 games are awesome by all reports... it also sounds like the ITH crew took a decent chunk of change out of them.

It sounds like you cashed in the WPT event... what was your payout?

They taxed me. I lost 40 bucks Rolling Eyes

I knew that would happen so I played it more for fun than for any positive EV. Decent structure for a $500 event.

A stars transfer works, or if there is any money left over for the PPls championship just let it ride......
