To my surprise, my wife floated the idea of coming to the convention along with our kids (12 year old boy, 10 year old girl). I don't want them coming, though, unless they can really keep themselves occupied while I play poker.
Anyone have an opinion about whether they be able to entertain themselves in AC at this time of year?
Anyone else bringing kids and/or a non-poker playing spouse?
And does anyone have an opinion about how easy it will be to find another room (assuming that the room I have already is too small for the four of us to share)?

My kids would go for the beach I'd think (I don't know how much beach there actually is in AC, though), but they're younger. This might be helpful for you, http://www.what-where.info/usnj_atlantic_city.htm.

beach will be fine, and walking on the boardwalk checking out the stores during the day. Also check out the Atlantic city aquarium.
Ocean City and Wildwood boardwalks are more kid friendly, but you have to drive to get to them.
