I am having major difficulty cashing out of FTP the last couple of months
-tried a paper check a couple monts back and after about 30 days, my funds were returned.
-tried e-check last month and again, funds return after some time
-last week, tried the cash pick up moneygram option (one moneygram is right near my house).....that was denied today

I am a little concerned at this point (its about $500 and I like to keep my online balance in the 150-250 range...)

I am thinking about switching back to stars buy enjoy the ITH rakeback and like getting the iron man medals....

anyone know the best method to withdraw?

thanks!

They have several threads about this at 2p2.

FTP used a check processor that was shut down (something to do with the Bodog thing). Several checks bounced and they had to refund people money back on their poker account. FTP then started having the cashout option.

It was working fine until today. From what I read both FTP and Stars no longer have cash option pick up at moneygram available.

So..long and short of it...I don't know.

Seems..there is a trend of people wanting to get outta of FTP.

You gotta be kidding. FTP now doesn't allow the Moneygram option?

DHWMA, when you find a way to cashout your funds, let me know. I was thinking of withdrawing sometime soon, but if I can't I"ll just build it up until for a few months it's about a couple grand (...hopefully) and wait for a month to receive a paper check. =(

My understanding is that there is currently no withdrawal method from Full Tilt that works for US-ians.

I'm pretty sure Moneygram just blew up for both Stars and Tilt. I assume it is our fabulous government "protecting" us some more.

Reading the latest on 2+2, I think some people are getting checks to work and some are not. That appears to be your best (and only!) bet.

I kinda hate to mention this but I withdrew my entire BR from UB after the cheating scandal. I went for the $8 check option and had a check in four days. I deposited it without issue. That was a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. After all the stink about them lately at least the payout was fast and the check is good.

Well they are not allowing me the paper check option at this moment.

This is truly depressing...1st they take away many of my favorite sites, then neteller is no longer and option, and now FTP? my main home for the past year??

I guess I will have to sit tight for a couple of days and try again....

Truly depressing.

Is Pstars giving people any problems? I guess I could go back there.

I think FTP will find a good payment option eventually. There seems to be a bit of a cat and mouse game where the law shuts down processors when they spring up. It seems as if Stars checks are still working OK. I expect that Tilt will eventually get the money to people -- it just might take a while.

I will keep my chin (and hopes) up.

Recently I cashed out two different times from FTP using the cash pickup(moneygram) option. It worked fine, and took about 4 days to process. I guess that was somewhere near the start of the month.

Worse comes to worse, you can always ship money to a trustworthy friend who can transfer the $ to Stars or another US friendly site, and you can withdraw that way.

I requested a cashout on Stars via MoneyGram on Tuesday.

Yesterday, the MoneyGram agent said there was a problem, and to try again in a few hours. Last night, MoneyGram said to try today.

I called MoneyGram today, and they said "Rapid Payment Systems" was no longer doing MoneyGrams, and to call their 800 number, which she gave me.

Feeling hope fading, I called the number, getting an answering machine. I've emailed both PokerStars and "support@ct-systems.com" requesting action.

And I really need the money. Crying or Very sad

Update:

After encouraging news from the 2+2 forums, I went ahead and tried the MoneyGram, and they let me have the cash, the suckers! Mr. Green

Looks like whatever hold was on RPS' Moneygrams has been lifted.
