To be honest, I'm suprised to be in it. I ran decent early to build a stack, ran pretty card dead in the middle. Everyone was playing so tight on the bubble, that blind stealing kept me in it. I've been running decent recently-put a bad beat on a shortstack recently. I raised from MP with 5's-sb has less than my initial raise, and called with 9's. Hit running cards to make my strait.
Anyways, thats where I'm at now.

Thanks everyone. Its weird-its been something like a year and a half since I have been deep in a MTT and my only thought was how undisciplined I became shorthanded.
To be honest, I was amazed at how tight the play was-once about half the field was gone, you could see guys gearing down wanting to make the money. The play really didn't loosen until the final table. Ever since I read Harrington, I have been a believer in the 10:1 rule-I think I learned more about the big stacks and the hands they would call with to bust a guy than anything. It made it a bit easier to get involved in a hand with someone who could knock you out. |
