I tried using this "Starting Hand Calc" but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to type into the first box. I tried typing in different configurations but I kept getting a message that whatever I typed in wasn't in the database.
For example I tried typing: 56 and got nothing. Then I tried it with a comma between the two numbers but it still didn't work. Can someone help me with this. Thanks, in advance.

To imput the starting hand for Player 1::click on Player 1, it will turn green and then at the bottom you will see the numbers or cards 2 thru Ace. Just to the left of that are the symbols for clubs, hearts etc. If you want the 6h, you click on the heart symbol and then click on the number 6. That will load it automatically. Due the same for the second card and then go to player 2 and due the same.

If you wish to compare 2 known cards vs a random hand, imput the know hand into player 1 and then click on the "R" next to player 2.

Well I already wrote this up so will not delete it but the above is for the Poker Odds Calc.

For the Starting Hands Calc.
If you want to know how to play 66 (suits do not matter) from late position. Just type 66 in the Cards box. From the Position drop down box choose Late Position. From the Pot status choose Raised or Unraised (I used Unraised). From the Callers box coose the number of callers. Then click Submit. Under Action in Red it recommends Fold

Now if you wish to see the recommendation for AK suited with with the same set up - delete the 66 and type in AKs again you are not worried about which suits just that they are suited. If you want unsuited just Type in AK.

You can do it this way as Ace of Clubs King of Clubs would be played the same as Ace of Hearts King of Hearts etc. So all you really need for this calc. is the AKs for Suited and AK for Unsuited etc.

Hope this helps.

Ray
