Question to all of our ITH members:

Has this Presidential Campaigning season been waaaaaaaaaay too long? Most of these yahoos have [or had] been running for nearly two years. I'm truly expecting the boxer or briefs commentary in the near future.

Is there a way for the process to truncate in the future or is it another case of "once-out-of-the-bottle?"

Think of how much money they could save if they didn't start until
oh... I don't know, the August prior to the election.

To bad.

You should be glad that 2012 hasn't had a lot of action yet.

The cure for this is simple. Don't watch the news and Tivo-Skip the ads.

It's a conspiracy Darvon. It's being propagated by the same people who are already selling Christmas paraphernalia next to the Halloween paraphernalia. d'oh!

The 6+ weeks of filler before the Pennsylvania primary was agony. This part is breezing along.

But seriously this is sad, very sad. They should all be shot if they announce anything or do anything before Groundhog Day....the Groundhog Day the year of the election that is.

Let's blame it all on the media.

Hmm. This would require assistance from Iowa and New Hampshire, who generally run their primaries before Groundhog Day.

Would be fun though:

Reporter: How was the Iowa Caucus this year Mrs. Clinton?
Hillary: It went well. We got out of the tour bus to greet the local citizens. Of course we had to dodge the sniper fire......

One nice thing about NOT being located in a battleground state is the TOTAL lack of ads. I haven't seen one since primary season and I'm very content with that.

Speaking as a hard core TiVo user, I'd like to say "What's an ad?"
