Speak English man! Are they having a reload? Or are you referring to the ITH promotion from the 15th to the 31st?

I received an email yesterday:

Hello TRK,

Happy Holidays! Congratulations to WiseOwl who took in $75,000 in last weekend's Million Dollar Freeroll Series Final. Our holiday action is just getting started with our first $100,000 Freezeout playing this weekend.

Looking for Holiday action? Stay tuned to Cake over the holidays as we bring you a Holiday Bonus that's better than fruitcake. Join us for nine days of holiday events starting December 22nd. Details will be unwrapped soon.

Then stuff about tourneys (yawn).

I've just deposited $402 for the holiday bonus and they've taken $15.68 off my NGR.

Yeah, Cake's new nickel and diming policy is definitely galling to those of us that knew it from before. I can still tolerate it, though, as my options as an American are pretty limited and this is the best deal I can get as a player for grinding cash games in my playable range. My biggest fear is that they will go to a contributed system like the rest of the online poker world and those little fishies will stop earning my NGR for me. Very Happy I don't have ANY information on that, I am just laying out my fears.

Let's try to get a little something positive out of this. Let's see if we can at least crack the deposit fees code at Cake so we can all know what to expect going forward. Seems you paid 3.9% on your deposit. What was your deposit method?

My statement was a little incorrect. They took the money off my gross rake (not NGR) so essentially the $15 deduction is really only $5.

I'm not too fussed - it's still a relatively easy $100 bonus.

Deposit method was Neteller.
