Here's a hand in which i busted some russian bird yesterday lol. I cant post the HH on here so here is the link

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1673718

What do you fish think of my play? I prolly should have raised on the flop with my draw instead of calling but when the russian fish blasts i think i made the correct call. I knew my opponent probably had a set and moved in to protect her hand. However, i feel as thou i was priced in here and getting the right odds to call all in with my gutshot str8 and floosh draw what with all the money already in the pot. Perhaps im a donk? I'll need to check it on one of them poker calculater things?
I think its very marginal

Hmmm,

Without using any tools it looks like the call is Zero EV if he indeed got the set and positive EV against all other hands........except a bigger flush draw.

Call is OK but you got to put in a raise on that flop.

You have 12 outs twice which would give you 12 x 4 = 48% equity. But if he fills up (33% of the time), you still lose. So you take 67% of your 48% equity and you arrive at roughly 33% equity for hero on the flop.

You can also use the calculator here Wink : http://www.notedpokerauthority.com/poker-tools?ql=e8426caf280f

So, if you are certain he has a set here, you should have folded.
