Guys, thanks for all of the great efforts. I really appreciate the support.
RobRobRob is running an online charity tournament this weekend and we got PokerStars to match so we will hopefully raise an additional $1,000.
We will have raised several thousand dollars in just a few months since Bull's launching of 53offsuit.
Diana and I are going to Medellin in early October for the inauguration of the new project in a poor suburb of Medellin. Diana and I visited the site over a year ago and the community leaders were very optimistic and excited about us coming. It's taken a little longer than we had hoped to come up with the sponsors and funding for the project but it finally is going to get off the ground.
I can't wait for our visit and will be sure to post lots of pictures.

Rob is a member of a group called Sports for Hunger and their group is running this tournament on Saturday. We're not promoting it here as it is intended as a private tournament for these guys who wanted to do something for charity. There are details at 53offsuit.com.
I plan on doing something similar in November/December for ITHers.

I am more than happy to be doing this. I would not have been able to do my "quest/staking" without this site and figured giving something towards something that you cared about would be a good idea. I am also very glad to cause a ripple effect to benefit those in true need.
No Problem! It feels good to give back to a site that has given me so much. Who knows, maybe I'll do another one after this. Seems playing for a cause has really improved my game. Go figure...
