...doesn't it just feel good to say "Bodog" and "bonus" at the same time? It just kind of rolls off the tongue. I miss unlimited bonuses. I also REALLY miss the clear rate.

100% Poker Reload Bonus
There's never been a better time to play poker at Bodog! For a limited time, we are offering existing poker players a 100% match reload bonus.
How it Works:
1. Deposit. If you have any problems depositing, don't hesitate to call us for assistance.
2. Hit the poker tables and for every 10 poker points you earn in your first 30 days from the date of your deposit, we'll give you an additional $1 in bonus up to a 100% match of your deposit (up to maximum of $500 US or currency equivalent).
Qualifications:
1. Bonus applies only on first deposit made per 30 day period. Bonuses may not be stacked.
2. Bonus is issued at a rate of $1 in bonus per 10 poker points earned up to a maximum of 100% of the reload deposit up to $500.
3. Bonus is issued 30 days after the reload deposit.
How to Earn Poker Points:
Rake Points
$1.00 - $3.00 1.00
$0.50 - $0.95 0.50
$0.25 - $0.45 0.25
$0.05 - $0.20 0.10
1. Rake: You earn up to 1 poker point per raked pot.
2. Tournament Fees: You earn 3 poker points per dollar in tournament fees.
3. Time Spent Playing: You even earn an additional 1 poker point per hour of play!
Example A:
Jim deposits $500. In his first 30 days of play from the date of deposit, Jim earns 5000 poker points and receives a $500 cash reload bonus.
Example B:
Bob deposits $500. In his first 30 days of play from the date of deposit, Bob earns 3000 poker points and receives a $300 cash reload bonus.
OK so in short, this is basically a 13x contributed bonus. So basically to fully clear and be able to withdraw a $500 bonus, you would need to earn 6500 points. You can cash those points in using the points for cash option, so it's SLIGHTLY better than the 13x, but honestly, not by much.

Here's what it comes down to.
You need 10x points to clear it before you're awarded the money.
THEN the standard Bodog 3x points before you're allowed to withdraw it.
Or hey, if you're like me and you run horribly at Bodog, then the 3x part at the end isn't really applicable, since withdrawing isn't going to happen. |

I just updated Bodog's bonus at ITH. From my reading it appears that this is concurrent. You'll need 10 Bodog Points per $1 in bonus, which in turn satisfies the requirement of playthrough.
However, the 10% up front part of the bonus [up to $50] requires playthrough prior to withdrawal. So if you deposit $500, you'll receive a bonus of $500 with 30 days to clear at 10 BPs per $1 bonus, plus the $50 upfront. You need to earn 150 BPs before you can take the $50 upfront bonus out.
If you plan on chasing all or most of the bonus, you'll easily clear the 3BPs/bonus dollar requirement. |

Just got this email back from Bodog [and I must say, turnaround time was 15 minutes]:
