Bluffing, folding equity; I can' think right now

I'm confused and embarassed at the same time. After about 800k hands and beating 10/20 I should be able to answer that myself

Let's say there are $100 in the Pot and I'm HU on the river. I don't have a hand so I bet as a pure bluff.

If I bet $100 there are 2 possible outcomes
I bet, he calls or raises, I lose 100 (my bet)
I bet, he folds, I win 100 (the pot)

If I think he folds exactly 50% of the time my bet has a EV of 0. Is that right? So, I should bet if I belive he folds more than 50%?
