Nick, you spoke a bit about Binion's sale in the VegasTripping interview. I know it was approved by the Gaming Commision in January, with the sale to be finalized in February.
Haven't heard anything further, and wondered if you had? I'm cautiously optimistic since Terry Caudill is taking over--would like to see the place bounce back.

Terry Caudill is expected to take control of Binion's any day now. I'm sure it will be reported in the Las Vegas papers, and when I hear something final it will go up on the Death Watch page.
I can't say I'm all that optimistic about Binion's chances in the medium-term, but I'm much more optimistic with the new regime coming in than I have been at any time in the last decade. If Mr. Caudill thinks he can turn Binion's around, who am I to argue with him? Moreover, I wish him good luck.
