| I have read Ed Miller's Getting Started and am moving on down the 2+2 list. I was thinking it might be good to read something about playing online specifically to supplement my other reads. Any thoughts? |

| There really are no good books specifically related to internet play, if you mean picking sites, poker software, etc. Even though Internet Texas Holdem seems to stress that, it's really a basic Holdem manual (for limit poker only.) |

If you are looking for a very basic book that covers the fundamentals of the online experience, you might check out Internet Hold'Em Poker by Avery Cardoza. It came out within the past thirty days.
For a book on online strategy, you should check out Online Ace by Scott Fischman. |

Unfortunately, I won't be able to give you many concrete reasons. That's because I no longer have the book. I sold it back on Amazon, and I've only done that with 2 or 3 of the 20 or so poker books I have.
I don't actually recall much of anything from the book, which tells you it's mostly fluff. I do recall him being somewhat hypocritical when he says books aren't good places to learn poker. The SnG section is roundly criticized as being crap, roughly on par with Phil Hellmuth's limit poker advice from Play Like the Pros. Bottom line is that there isn't a single topic that's covered that isn't covered better somewhere else. |

Sorry if I came across sounding like an ass. I would say that the book made a (negative) impression on you given that you still remember that. Thanks for the post. It helps push Online Ace to the bottom of my "thorough" reading list. |

| There are a lot of good books, but Ed Miller's Getting Started is one of the best. |
