I've started recording my bankroll online here: http://bazclef.blogspot.com/ if anyone's interested. I'll be doing some bloggy stuff too, but I'm mainly using it to help motivate me to reaching my monthly goals
Cheers! |

Cheers trej!
My main game up until about July/August was cash games while clearing bonuses. Then from August onwards almost all of my play went on 2-table turbos at Stars. I think these are amongst the easiest games to beat out there. I'll probably submit an article on them for next months ITH article contest, but you can drop me a PM if you'd like a copy of the draft I've knocked up. It'd probably be good to get someone to read over it! Might be of some help as I notice you're playing the turbos too.
Love your poker goal by the way, me and the gf went to Aus last year... it's definately the best holiday I've ever been on. Gimmi a shout if you need tips on places to go, stay, etc! |

Hey Baz,
Congrats on a great year! Enjoyed reading your blog...you have a very clear, veryreasonable plan for next year too! Given your successes, I'd welcome any thoughts/advice you might have for me...(see my recent post in the MTT section)...
FWIW, I'd also be interested/willing to read through a draft of your SNG article...I'm seriously thinking of moving my SNG play over to Stars as I have a good chunk of bonus money I need to work off there and feel I'd have the best chance of profitably doing it via SNGs...
Best,
Jeff |

Cheers for the encouragement, Jeff.
Bear in mind SNGs at Bodog are completely rake free using their unlimited deposit bonus, so I'm not sure they'll be better value than Stars!
I've had a few people read over the SNG article and it's had a lot of positive feedback. I'm re-working some of it at the moment and I'll be posting it on the forum in a couple of weeks. I hope it'll be of help.
I posted in your MTT thread too btw, best of luck! |

Nice blog, and congrats on a great year!
Couple comments on your book list. "Positively Fifth Street" is a book I really enjoyed--got started and couldn't put it down. This would make a great vacation-holiday read. To give you an idea---I picked it up after work one Friday, started it around 7 pm, and read it straight through, finishing around 6 am Saturday. Just got into it and couldn't stop.
"Zen and the Art of Poker" is a good cover-to-cover type read, but each chapter is also a good "stand alone" read. If needing some inspiration (or tilt control) you can just pick up the book and open at random and read whatever chapter you landed on. Funny how you sometimes land on just the right "thing" you needed to hear. |

Cheers loyo!
I'm glad you enjoyed Positively Fifth Street, I'm hoping this could be another Big Deal. Good advice saving it for a vacation... going to Germany for a few days in February with my girlfriend's family, so i'll save it for then.
Interesting you talked about Zen and the Art of Poker, I could really do with something to read about tilt control and the poker mindset at the moment. I might make this my next read. Psychology of Poker is meant to be good too, i'll need to find out the difference between this and Zen. |

Cheers Trej. The article weighed in at 2200 words overall, so I had to split it into 2 parts. This months is only around 850 words, whereas next months is around 1200, so there's a lot more content to come.
I've linked you from my blog. Anyone else wanting linked just gimmi a shout, dunno if it'll provide much traffic, though! |
