Been on the site for a few months. Thought it was best I do a blog now so people can see my thoughts on the game
I started playing poker in Feb 2007, funny enough after watching Casino Royale. I was a proper noob and never really had a clue with the game. Played on partypoker.net for free money and never got anywhere. I wanted to play proper poker but couldn't do that because it was all-in every hand.
So I bit the bullet and started playing for money just so that I could get a sense of real play.
In about May time I was $600 up on Pokerstars (after depositing $100), but that was because I had no clue about bankroll management or anything. In fact, I haven't had any clue about BR management up until a month or so ago.
I have been a devout student to the game. I have read about 10 different poker books, watch the footage of various tournaments on Pokertube and play several hours of poker on top of that.
As a suffer of Aspergers Syndrome (form of Autism) I have always had an obsession in life. That is to be the best at something. I have played on the professional darts circuit in the past, and even qualified for a televised event. But I never really enjoyed darts, whereas I enjoy poker.
I have never been good with my body, just with my brain. I am a sponge for information and know that with a bit of time I can do well in poker world.
Perhaps not quite 500k buyin level, but sure I could be a grinder at 3/6-5/10 limits.
Where am I at now in my development? Quite frankly I'm in the pits...the bankroll I had demolished and am feeling so low. I'm making great plays...and then either being beaten by some stupid combination that you can never put someone on, or they suck out by the time the river comes.
I prefer live play over online. Online is rubbish...no interaction with others and that's what I like. Also the standard of play is marginally better than online.
I want to be a cash and tournament player, but at the moment it is really demoralising sitting in the micro donk limits knowing I am so much better than they are.
My favourite games are the non holdem games. 2-7 Lowball (Single and Triple draw) and Omaha Hi/Lo are my favourite games...but there aren't enough tournaments online for me to play in so have to play NL Hold'em.
So this leads me to the point of my 'blog'. I am doing 10 $4/180 sit n go's on pokerstars and I am seriously hoping that I can make a bankroll. I am going to post all the hands that I play because I would like some staking behind me to help me get a better bankroll and hopefully provide you with a profitable return at the same time.
This blog will hopefully demonstrate my capabilities and that results aren't always everything!
If anyone wants to post that's great...it'd be nice to know I have support because at the moment I feel so disallusioned. Playing well but not winning is a horrible feeling.
I do not always articulate myself well....so if anyone is confused or has questions please post

SNG 1
Played far too loose in first orbit - saw flop 6 times out of 9. Plenty of donk raising ie to $40. Was getting a lot of value but I don't feel comfortable playing 2 in 3 hands unless they are good or have potential
Key hands - JJ all in v A9
99 v 62
AA v AJ v 73
Stats after 25 hands
Flop percentage - 36% breakdown as follows:-
1 out of 2 times while in big blind (50%)
2 out of 2 times while in small blind (100%)
6 out of 21 times in other positions (28%)
Pots won at showdown - 4 of 5 (80%) Pots won without showdown - 1
Position 4th out of 125
Finished 92nd after some prick hits miracle two pair on flop
Compounds the misery that no matter what I do some idiot always gets lucky on me.....can you all see that now??? I don't lose because I am a bad player!!!

2nd sng
Finished 91st. Got no cards whatsoever. Got to 50/100 blinds and saw A3 and pushed. Some muppet with 22 called my $1057 all in and held up...
starting to think poker is a waste of time when people give you no respect. Hadnt played in about 15 hands (absolutely no cards!)...yet I still get two callers when I push
I HATE donk limits...someone please save my soul so I can play around competent players please

3rd 4/180 sng
finished 152nd
Some German/Dutch donk decided to call my $150 AK raise (one other person called). Flop came 238 - harmless flop. Pot about $470. I bet out $300, one fold and this idiot calls. Turn brings a Queen.
Now I go all in here because I know she has not hit anything. She was fishing with high cards and small pairs. I had her on something like A2/A3 or small pair like 44 or 66
I cant check because Im vulnerable to bluffs, and betting $400/$500 is weak and doesn't leave me in a good position.
She calls...river brings a blank and she turns over 44!!!!
How on earth can you call a big raise and a call with 44....have two overcards and an all in bet and call with such a low pair. I got the play right that she had small pair but HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU CALL AN ALL IN WITH ABSOLUTE SQUADOOSH???
If I was against a good player they would be giving up after the flop...
I wouldnt mind but this was the first hand I played, and again I got absoultely no respect from the table or this German/Dutch idiot
I really hope I can stay away from prats like her and win...so I can move up the ladder. I hate micro donk limits....hardly any decent players. I really dislike the bad players...because they always call you with shit or get extremely lucky
ABC poker is a pile of crap because they shouldnt be calling with shit pairs in the first place!
