Not neccessarily, when you've raised preflop and have a caller with position you should be checking a fair amount of flops. You can't blindly c-bet every flop, and thinking players will know this. You should be balancing your checks with check/raises and occasionally bluff check/raises too. Of course you'd need to be fairly confidant that your opponent will bet when you check with a big hand.

Although Hero has flopped the nuts on the flop the hand is still vulnerable. A Jack or a Queen on the turn would at least slow down the action and may even beat Hero if villain has QQ or JJ. To me there is a lot to lose by checking the hand and little to gain.
I don't see much point in the check-raise too. It might scare away AK or some other weak hand that might have called a bet. I would be wanting to bet gradually until the river when hopefully I will have most or all of villains chips.
I'm going to just bet about half the pot and hope villain has AK or a set or decides not to give up on JJ or QQ just yet.
