The guy I am up against is incredibly loose. He had a VP$IP of 100% during about half an hour.

I think it was dangerous to shove in this situation, but what could he have that the 5 hit him? My guess was that at most it gave him a pair of 5s because he was daring at the straight. What would have been the correct play throughout the hand? Was my play very bad? |

Given the read on this guy I am getting it all in before the flop. Make him commit all his chips with that trash hand. If he does call make notes and try to get on his table whenever you play. This guy is gold! You may have lost this time but in the long run he will be lining your pockets. Especially if you can get his chips in the pot before the flop. If he really loose then maybe you should have a clue after you see the flop. Even a hand 56 is not outside his range, I think, given your read. But basically I would push pre-flop.

I make it 120 or 150 pre-flop. If you're sure he'll call a shove, shoving is fine, but I wouldn't count on it happening.
I might just call the flop, since this is mostly a WA/WB spot, and if his VPIP is 100% he's a lot more likely to have nothing than something. Of course, if he'll call a raise with nothing, that's fine too. I'm getting it on pretty much any turn, as well, if given the opportunity.
Basically, you played it fine, and its a bad beat. |

| Way ahead/way behind. Normally in this spot if you're ahead, you're way ahead and your opponent has few outs, and if you're behind you've got 2 outs, but it will be difficult to tell which is actually the case a lot of the time. Becuase there's not usually much danger of him outdrawing you, you can play it more passively in order to encourage him to commit to the pot. |

I agree with the pf raise, put more. Early on, the chip are deep so (3+L)x, where L is the number of limpers. Later on, I turn the 3 into 2.5 where my raises are smaller to improve equity vs the time I may get shoved on.
As played, it looks fine. Board is huge drawy, and he could be a donk and pay off with slikght overs, a pair 7s, calls a straight draw, or you could be HUGELY behind.
No fret. looks solid, just increase pf raise. |

He made a really small bet on the turn-less than 10% of the pot. If he is willing to play any two cards, then any card represents a scare card. The turn bet would raise a red flag in my head, but it sounds like this guy has no clue what he is doing and since he hit is card on the turn is half likely to push on the river. If he's calling no matter what pre-flop, you are gonna lose all of your chips here. In this situation, no matter what-I'm in the same boat as you. I lose all my chips to some guy I know I can beat and am wondering why.
Against a guy who will call with junk and semi bluff a gutshot where its a possibility he could be drawing dead-either I want that guy at my table every night or never want to see him again. |

| He was fishing all the way. Don't think you could play it any other way. |
