Villain is a Rock with 8/0/0.8 in 40 hands.

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.20 Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BTN with K Heart: Q Heart:
UTG calls, 3 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, UTG calls, MP2 calls, CO calls

Flop: (9.5 SB) 4 Club: K Spade: 9 Club: (4 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, CO folds, Hero raises, UTG folds, MP2 calls

Turn: (6.75 BB) 3 Spade: (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls

River: (8.75 BB) K Club: (2 players)
MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls

Villain turned over AKd. Given the flush draw I should prolly just call the river. It might have been worse, though, if villain plays his hand like he should have. I never in a million years put him on AK. I had him on an inferior King at worst.

Looks like he was seeing the AA monster under his bed. I do think I would have just called the river bet, given how unaggressive he's been, but it can't be a big mistake to raise trips on the river.

The river donk will be a flush or a bluff more often than not, so I'd just call there. Otherwise, as played, all standard for me.

Interesting to conjecture how the play should have gone:

PF: He raises I call. UTG prolly comes along.

Flop: checked to him, he bets, I raise for info. He re-raises, I fold, putting him on AA or AK..

OR

He might just call my raise given he is passive. Then:

Turn: I bet out if he checks figuring him for maybe QQ AQ JJ or something and having called 'just one more' on the flop.. If he leads I prolly call, though he prolly won't given he didn't lead in the actual hand.. If he decides to raise me here I have to decide what he might have that he couldn't r/r the flop. The 3s can't have helped him.

River: same as above, but now I know to just call.

So what it amounts to is a r/r by him on the flop after my raise for info gets me out of there early.
