Hey all.

So I'm back with another staking request. I would like $300-$500 for $10 single table SNG's, and the occasional $5 MTT. I believe I'm +EV on both counts. To be 100% honest, I don't know how this works. I do know that I'm a winning player at the $5 level at FTP (where I play), and I've dipped and ducked around the $10 a few times just to test the water, and I'm pretty sure the field is equally exploitable as the $5 level. I recently put $50 into my FTP account (had to withdrawl it all this summer) and have been playing at the $2 level, and this week I got it up to $150 and started playing at the $5 level, where I am most comfortable. After roughtly 30 SNG's at the $5 level, I'm up to $225.

The place I work is shutting down on the 6th of June, and I'm only working part time for the next month, and want to devote at least 4 hours a day to poker. I will only play 2 tables at a time max so I can devote my attention fully to my games. I have an ROI of almost 20% at the $5 level for the last 18 months or so, and over 2,000 games I've made a couple thousand dollars...though it could have been more if I didn't have to keep dipping into my poker funds for cash, curtailing my ability to play for higher stakes. This is exactly why I want to be funded...I feel like I'm nickling and diming, and don't want to have to go through the tedious "bank roll" building process and would rather just jump right in.

If you want talk more about the details, feel free to leave me a message here, or drop me an email at JoeyCFarrell@gmail.com. I'm not a spammer or a begger, and I've been an active member (to one degree or another) of this forum for around 9 months. If nobody is interested so be it, I just thought I would throw this out there.

Respond with some kind of structure that you think would be fair, as far as what % take I should have of my profit etc etc etc. Even if you're not interested in contributing, if you're familiar with funding players let me know how a donation of $500 would work for someone playing online SNG's so I know.

Joe

Look in the general forum sticky for info about how to join our chat. You're far, far, far more likely to get a stake if you're a member of the community rather than just a member of the forum. In other words, a "person" rather than just a screen name.

In the meantime, post some OPR and sharkscope stats for your screen names at the sites you primarily play. Those are important, and others here won't do your work for you.

Finally, there are sites out there that stake players based simply on their stats, unlike here, where the sense of community is most important, as you learned a few months ago. Have you tried on of those? If your stats are good enough, one of them will stake you. You might have to play small stakes at first to build a reputation.

The only account I play on is "ImBetterDude" on FTP, so you can search me on sharkscope or whatever other sites. I'll join the IRC.
