This is my stats from Pokertracker for only .05/.10 PL. Just wondering if any numbers are off.

I don't play PL but here's an anylasis anyways...

PFR % of 3.66 makes you pretty readable your basically only raising preflop with the top 10 hands probably even less. If we have 100bb stacks i'm set mining you every chance I get.

With the PFR% & VP$P of 12.51 if I was sitting to your right my blind stealing raise range would be any two cards if I was only stealing a blind from you and even if another player is involved i'm still going to have a wide steal range.

Even with these two exploitable areas I think you can probably make money in the longrun at the stakes your at, however playing like this at higher stakes with better players will be EV-

As for the negative bb/100 I wouldn't worry about that to much I think the minimum number of hands your suppose to have to even approach your true bb/100 is like 100k of hands if I remember correctly.

Props to you for being able to open up and post your stats even while you have negative bb/100. I know there are some players out there with to much of an ego to even show that there is a possbilty they have any flaws in their poker game. Being open about your game allows for the most critism and the most improvment.

Thank you for your comments.

You are 100% right about everything you said. I am try to move from limit to NL and it's been bumpy. I used to rely on a starting hands chart for limit, but it appears that there is nothing like that for NL and that has gotten me confused as to what to cards to play, so I have rocked up a bit.

As for blinds, I haven't had any really good hands to defend with. And I just can't see calling a 8x BB raise with something like 74o. People at this level raise a lot sometimes and it's hard to look them up with a less than great hand or in my case the rare times I do have a good blind hand they have me beaten like a red headed stepchild.

I believe, as you do, that I can beat this level over the long run when I get it figured out. My limit database of hands has almost 100k hands, well, like 64,000 so not really almost, but getting there. I just find myself bored with limit and decided to see what all the fun was about with No limit. Pot limit seemed like a safe starting point.

A long time ago when I first started playing I learned this: Poker is not about the hand or the session or the money even. It's about making the best possible decision given the information you have available to you. With regards to money, if you take care of the decision making part of poker, the money comes your way. It has too. It's in the numbers, mathematical, and hard to argue with.

I think that some players have to admit to themselves that when things are not working out and they are losing buy in after buy in that it's not the cards, it's not the guy who drew out on them with trash, it's not that their aces always get cracked, it them and their game that's the problem. Those are the two things you can control.

I can openly and honestly admit that I am not a very good player. I have my moments, my hands, my sessions, but if you asked me that question: "Are you a good player?" I would have to say no. That may sound sad after playing so long and never getting above .50/1, but I figure as long as I am honest with myself and continue to make an effort at becoming better than one day I can answer that question with a yes.

I've never been one with a big ego. Most of the time, it's a useless thing. Gets you in trouble and makes you look like a fool.

Well, well, look at that, I've decided to ramble on and on. LOL!

Sorry about that.

Thank you again for your post.
