How do I increase my aggression factor? Very broad question. I was reading the short handed strategy book and it discusses AF.

My AF is

Of course, I need to bet and raise more than call post flop if I understand AF correctly. One TAG I looked at had a River AF 3.5.

I see my checks on the river is 38% - that seems weak to me and high. I'm either behind a lot or I give a lot of free showdowns. I could be inducing a lot of bluffs on the river but checking seems not to be the best river action for AF.

I looked at a few hands that I won - I checked and called. A bet/fold would increase my AF? Now, I want to increase my AF because I want to play more aggressive - not blind aggression but selective aggression.

Any ideas?

FullTilt FR $1/$2 LHE

I just played a hand where I had Jack of Diamonds Ten of Diamonds in the blinds and I called a raise. I could not 3-bet because there were two limpers.

Four to the flop which was Jack of Clubs 6 of Diamonds 7 of Clubs. It was checked to the PFR who bet and I raised. Folded to PFR who called. Turn was 8 of Diamonds which gave me a flush and a straight draw, I bet, he raised and I called. The river was 9 of Spades, I bet he raised and I called.

I have a one card straight HU - we split it he had a Ten. I have to be ahead. If I were aggressive I would have raised the river?

9 of Clubs 10 of Clubs or Queen of Clubs 10 of Clubs ?

Lee Jones said that a player that raises only with the best hand is passive in his book (WLLH).

My aggression factor is 1.68 over 12k+ hands. Not a large sample, but close to yours. Raising more will get your agg factor +
