Very safe board...question is, do I lead or check-raise?

There's no real room for me to check-raise here and I wouldn't like it if villain checked behind. It would be hard to see villain betting anyway after the strength shown pre-flop.
Villain should have pushed QQ pre-flop I think so the flop looks good for Hero. AQ is much more likely than QQ here so I like Hero's chances even after villain pushes.
Simplest is to just bet the flop, as in the hand, for me.

Hmmm,
This is as safe a board you ever get for giving a free card. You have no folding equity against a flushdraw anyway and with the in your hand you shouldnt worry to much about it.
Personally I'd bet out most of the time but I'm probably too much of a limit player |

| I think unpaired hands like AK usually c-bet and fold, so I'd bet, hoping for exactly what you got. If they have a small pair, they might shove, but fold to a check-raise. |

I agree with Primitive here. This is a very safe board. It's hard to see any weaker hand having more than two outs here and AK or AJ suited are only two combinations so these should be a small part of villains range.
I think I'm still betting as I would do that with AK which I will have here more often than KK+. Maybe checking might be more valuable in the long run.
Yes, I shouldn't be worried about villain checking behind here.

| Cheers all. He showed 99. I think if I'd checked there, he's gonna shove anyways but since I repopped preflop, a check wouldn't have made sense, even if i didn't have a hand. I played this like I'd have played AK and that probably got me a call. |
