I'd been getting beaten on this table for a while. Unfortunately hand this didn't occur earlier when the ATC merchants were still at the table, rivering me with garbage....but you can't have everything.
PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6 , 6
Hero raises, MP calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls
Flop: (8.5 SB) 6 , 6 , A (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets, 1 fold, BB calls, Hero calls
It wasn't the first time I'd checked the flop so i hoped it didn't look too suspicious. I was just praying one of them had a good A or i was going to get nothing. I'm not usually one for slow playing but felt I needed to here.
Turn: (5.75 BB) 3 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets, BB calls, Hero raises, MP calls, BB calls
River: (11.75 BB) A (3 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, MP calls, BB 3-bets, Hero caps, MP calls, BB calls
Total pot: $23.75 (23.75 BB) | Rake: $0.50
Results in below:
BB had 8 , A (full house, Aces over sixes).
Hero had 6 , 6 (four of a kind, sixes).
MP mucked 10 , A (full house, Aces over sixes).
Outcome: Hero won $23.25[/color]
Had to feel some sympathy for the guy raising who must have put the other guy on a 6 (though MP would prob have 3 bet the turn unless he'd been worried by a bad kicker or had put me on AA at that point) |
