Villain is 58/12/0.7.

Hands like these may go a long way to why my WTSD is low. I guess I thought the 8 hit some of his possible bluffing range (it's debatable whether or not a guy with these stats is bluffing at all).

I think I'm leaning towards folding to the turn raise against this particular opponent although I don't like it. The problem with calling the turn is that there's so many cards I'm not going to want to see on the river.

Should I just pitch it on the turn?

I'm not seeing a showdown here either, especially with that river card. Folding the turn is fine as long villain doesn't make free showdown raises. Playing like you did is also fine, although I slightly prefer a turn fold against a fish.
