I'd like to see us get more posts and interest going in this forum. The people at ITH are kind and helpful and knowledgable. The people at 2+2 are arrogant and unhelpful and knowledgable. But there are a lot more posts over there about Other Poker Games, so I have to go over there anyway.
I've satellited into several WCOOP events on PokerStars that fit this category, haven't yet cashed, but will have some interesting hands to post after the dust clears. I have two events remaining, Limit Omaha High-Low and Pot Limit Omaha, plus I may try one more satellite into the Main Event.
I know our name doesn't help us in this particular area, but there is much more to poker than holdem. More than a third of the 2008 WSOP bracelets were won in events including Other Poker Games.
100+ posts in October would be a good start. Let's talk poker.
I'm with ya. I've gotten bored with NLHE and have moved into mixed games of late, mostly 8-game SnGs on Stars. I've also been dabbling in various non-HE cash games, such as Razz, 2-7 TD, and Stud. Moving to these other games has really re-ignited my interest in poker.
