This is one of those doublestack turbo's on FTP. We're down to the remaining 6, and until recently I was doing great. I was 1 of 25 at the first break, and was in 4th heading to the final table. I got a real cold streak of cards and now have 30,000, essentially tied with 2 other players who are around 25,000. I was down to 16,000 recently but went all in the last two hands to steal blinds and antes which doubled me up.

SB and BB are the two larger stacks with around 70,000. Folds to me on the button, and I'm holding Ace of Clubs 6 of Clubs . Blinds/antes are 2,000/4,000/500, so there's 9,000 in the middle preflop, giving me an M of just above 3. Table image for me is conservative, but I have gone all in the last two hands without being contested, stealing the blinds and a limp or two from weakish play. I now might be perceived as loosening up.

So what do you do here? I know the book says this is an auto push with my M, but perhaps since I've been all in the last two hands I can afford to sit this one out...? I hate weak aces.

FYI, I pushed and got called by Ace of Diamonds Jack of Clubs in the SB and busted and of course second guessed myself. Now that I've cooled down I think it was the right play, but I"m not sure. Could there be a case made here for passing up this opportunity, or would it be over conservative and pretty atrocious?

I'm always conscious if I've raised or pushed 2 or 3 hands in a row, because I'm sure I'm going to get called lighter than before.

Saying that, I'd push this also with your stack. A6s isn't too shabby a hand against the blinds.

BTW, I wish you'd use the converter more in your posts.

I think you could turn your hand face up and push and it would still be profitable.

Doing this roughly, it's about +1.5% cEV to shove and flip your cards over (assuming blinds call perfectly, but ignoring overcalls). $EV will be different, but under the circumstances described with no real shorties, I can't imagine the difference will be huge (I'm assuming we're ITM already, but don't know anything about the structure otherwise).

I'm instashoving this, assuming the unknowns about the structure/stacks aren't a big factor.

1. Look for the hand history file on your pc (assuming you have the option ticked on your poker site to save hand histories).
2. Copy and paste the hand you want to convert.
3. Go to a site that does conversions. I use either:

http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php
http://www.leggopoker.com/converter/

4. Select ITH from the drop down list.
5. Paste your hand history and convert.
6. Paste the output in your post on ITH.

Hope this helps. It's quite easy really. It will also help us by giving us more information on your hand in question.
Let us know if you have any problems.

Instapush indeed...buying blinds are neat, but don't mind a call here.
